ISU looks to find jobs for engineers

Iowa State University holds its annual Engineering Career Fair today, the second largest of its kind in the nation.Larry Hanneman is director of I-S-U’s engineering career services office. He says the career fair will pull in 265 employers and 45-hundred students — that’s about 90-percent of I-S-U’s budding engineers. Hanneman says students will be able to talk about co-ops, internships, summer jobs and permanent job opportunities.Hanneman says about 100 of the 265 engineering firms that will be represented are Iowa-based. The fair runs from 1-8 p-m at Hilton Coliseum.
