September 20, 2000 By admin

There’s been an important break in the state of Iowa’s case against a cellular phone company. U-S Cellular’s lawyers claimed their company couldn’t be dragged into a state court. Bob Brammer, a spokesman for Iowa’s Attorney General, says federal judges in Cedar Rapids and Des Moines have ruled otherwise.Brammer says U-S Cellular violated Iowa consumer protection lawsBrammer says U-S Cellular used mis-leading advertising and inducements to sign up.
