Two long-time rivals meet in Northeast Iowa

In high school football action tomorrow night in class A, it’s a matchup of unbeatens in district four as fifth-ranked Clarksville visits Fredricksburg. With a number of veterans back from last year’s 5-4 team, Clarksville coach Bob Saathoff felt he had a solid nucleus. But, Saathoff admits their 3-0 start is somewhat surprising. He says he thought the non-district games were tough and things have fallen into place to give them victories.District four has a number of solid teams and Saathoff says every week provides another big game.Saathoff says Fredricksburg’s veteran coach Steve Staker has another solid team that has speed and experience. Clarksville won last year 10-6 in the final game of the season..
