Mock accident sends message about alcohol

A mock traffic accident in Hudson, Tuesday, was designed to show teenagers the dangers of drinking and driving. Deputy Tony Thompson of the Blackhawk County Sheriff’s Department says it is part of a program called “every 15-minutes”. He says the premise is to show kids how drunk driving impacts someone’s life.Thompson says students were shown various aspects of drunk driving accidents. He says every 15 minutes someone dies in a drunk driving accid .Hudson high school student Jill Anderson says the impact of the program was overwhelming.
