Davenport riverboat owner signs new lease

The new owners of the President Riverboat in Davenport have cleared the final hurdle to make some changes. The Davenport City Council approved a new lease with the Isle of Capri Company to allow them to bring in a new boat to replace the President. President General Manager Mark Lohman says it’s good news for employees who’ve been waiting 15 months to see what would happen.Isle of Capri needed the new agreement to be able to get the new boat to Davenport before winter sets in.
