Lake Delhi hosts fundraiser

Anglers from across northeastern Iowa are taking their poles and heading for Lake Delhi today in Delaware County. The Lake Delhi Fishing Club is sponsoring its annual fishing contest. Club member Jean Crowley says there are various prize categories and rules to be followed.Crowley says the fishing club has a special reason for hosting the annual event as funds raised go toward buying some 10-thousand fish to put back into the lake every year. For more information, call (319)-922-2852.The entry fee is 15-dollars per person.
