October 3, 2000 By admin

Iowa State hosts second-ranked Nebraska in Ames on Saturday. The Huskers fell from the top spot this past weekend after a 42-24 win over Missouri. Nebraska coach Frank Solich says rightly or wrongly, that is the way the system works sometimes.Solich says no matter where the Huskers are ranked, they have to keep improving.Solich says it is too early in the season to read much into the polls as they’re still 4-0 and where they want to be at this point in the season.Iowa State also comes into Saturday’s game at 4-0.
