Students push to get Nader in debate

A few Grinnell College students who support Green Party presidential candidate Ralph Nader rallied today outside the Iowa Democratic Party’s headquarters in Des Moines.Shannon Anderson, a 21-year-old Grinnell College senior, leads Grinnell Students for Ralph Nader.Anderson says Nader should be allowed to debate Al Gore and George W. Bush tonight in Boston.Anderson says Bush and Gore are carbon copies of one another.Seven other Grinnell students joined Anderson this morning that held Nader signs as a few passing motorists honked their horns.
