U-of-I student’s death not linked to foul play

October 5, 2000 By admin

Authorities have released more information on the death of an eastern Iowa college student. 20-year old Justin Reschly of Wayland was found dead in his University of Iowa dorm room last week by his roommate. Johnson County Medical Examiner T.T. Bozek says the initial results of an autopsy came back negative — ruling out natural causes like a heart attack or stroke. Bozek says the autopsy results show NO signs of foul play and he is waiting on other tests to determine the cause of death. Reschly was a business major who had recently transferred from Southwest State University in Minnesota.
