Office workers across Iowa are buying their way into wearing comfortable jeans at work today. This is National Denim Day in an effort to raise awareness and money in the fight against breast cancer.Polly Flug is a spokeswoman for Farm Bureau Financial Service and president of the Des Moines chapter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.She says participants in today’s event make a five-dollar donation to the agency in exchange for wearing jeans at work. Flug says -all- of the proceeds from today’s fundraiser go to the Komen Foundation.
