Cheney, who headed a Texas oilcompany, assures Iowans he supports the federal tax break for corn-basedethanol fuel. Cheney was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, but insisted he was notcheering for the Big Red during his visit to the Iowa State/Nebraska gameSaturday. Cheney attended the Waterloo East versus Waterloo West game onFriday night, then met with area veterans on Saturday morning.
