Iowans will have to use a personal computer to play the latest game fromthe Iowa Lottery. Lottery spokeswoman Mary Neubauer says the game called”Treasure Tower” is the first in the nation to use C-D-ROM technology.(As said above) You buy a scratch-off ticket which comes with a C-D. Theticket contains access codes which enable you to play the game. Neubauersays Treasure Tower follows an Indiana Jones-type of theme. The tickets willbe sold, initially, in three packs. The tickets cost four-dollars each, theC-D is included free, and the packs cost 12-dollars total. Each three-packcontains at least one winning game. Prizes range from four-dollars toten-thousand dollars. Neubauer says the Iowa Lottery did a lot of researchbefore deciding to go this route. She says about 55-percent of Iowahouseholds now have personal computers. The game will go on sale next Mondayin Johnson, Linn and Dubuque counties with sales statewide by earlyNovember. The game has a parental control feature where a password can beentered that restricts access.
