October 17, 2000 By admin

Iowa small business owners who are interested in learning the basics of “e-business” may consider attending one of five workshops to be held in the coming weeks. Lars Peterson is director of the Iowa Small Business Development Center which is offering the one-day courses.Peterson says the courses can help new Iowa entrepreneurs start and grow their operations using the Internet, while it can also prove to be a big help for those who have been in business for years.Peterson says there aren’t many businesspeople in Iowa who -wouldn’t- get a boost from learning about e-business.The workshops are in: Davenport on November 14th, Waterloo on November 15th, Iowa City on November 16th, Council Bluffs on November 28th, and in West Des Moines on December 7th. For information, call 800-373-7232.
