Former superintendent charged with exploitation of a minor

October 19, 2000 By admin

The former superintendent at Sentral of Fenton schools is facing charges. Forty-eight-year-old Arthur W. Pixler was arrested at his home in Perry today for “sexual exploitation of a minor.” Pixler’s personal computer was seized, and cops say they found inappropriate pictures. Pixler had been the middle school principal in Perry, but was hired in July to be superintendent of Sentral of Fenton. He resigned from that job last Friday for “personal reason.” Police say none of the objectionable pictures were of kids from any of the schools where Pixler had worked.
