Northern League realigns

The Northern Baseball League is realigning and the Sioux City Explorers are switching divisions. Sioux City will move into the South division along with a new franchise in Lincoln, Nebraska. Explorers manager Ed Nottle expects a new rivalry to develop.Other changes include four more games in a season. The owners agreed to expand the 86-game schedule to 90 by starting the season earlier. Nottle says there should be no concerns about the weather by opening earlier in late May.
