A 29-year-old woman died in that fiery car crash in southwest Iowa near Creston last night. Union County Sheriff John Coulter says officials believe they know how Denise West died. He says she suffered chest injuries when she went over a bridge embankment. Firefighters were called to the scene to deal with a grass fire, but the charred wreckage of a car was soon found in the flames. The Sheriff hasn’t identified what caused the accident.Coulter says it’ll be a week before they get some key data, like the technical accident investigator’s report.West had two children. She’s been tentatively identified by belongings found in the car.
