Drake looks to continue basketball improvement

The Drake basketball team looks to improve from last year’s 11-18 record. Drake coach Kurt Kanaskie says a large group of newcomers, including five junior college transfers has boosted the talent level and added depth.Kanaskie says one thing is certain, the Bulldogs will be a much better shooting team this season.Senior Lamont Evans is expected to be one of the top point guards in the Valley after leading the league is assists as a junior.
