HIgh school football season winding down

Two weeks remain in the high school football regular season for all classes except eight-man which closes out the regular season tonight. The playoff pairings will be set after tonight’s games. Fifth ranked Aurelia is at Whiting. Aurelia coach Myron Radke says this amounts to a playoff game.Radke says there is tremendous excitement surrounding this game.In class A, Waco looks to wrap up the district six title with a victory at Harmony. Because a postponement WACO had to play three games in seven days and won them all against North Mahaska, Winfield-Mount Union and H-L-V. Warrior’s coach Lonnie Powers says a big offensive line has helped the team’s running backs put up good numbers.
