Davenport set to reopen search for police chief

The city of Davenport is starting over in its search for a new police chief. Four of the six finalists selected by a consulting firm have withdrawn and the Mayor and City Manager say the other two are unqualified. The consultants are recommending a new search instead of going back to the old pool of candidates.
