AARP holds Fall forum

Older Iowans are gathering at the State Fairgrounds throughout the day today for the A-A-R-P’s fall expo. State Director Bruce Koepple says they have a variety of workshops available.Koepple says there are around 364-thousand A-A-R-P members in Iowa. He says the expo is free to any member. He says you can sign up for membership at the event.It’s the first time they’ve held such an expo and he says they’re not sure how many people will turn out. He says they’re hoping to educate Iowa’s aging population.The event runs until 8 tonight at the Tourism Building on the fairgrounds.
