ISU won’t let loss ruin season

October 25, 2000 By admin

Iowa State entertains Missouri on Saturday. The Cyclones are coming off a disappointing loss to Texas A&M but coach Dan McCarney says that loss does not have to spoil the season. He says there are still only three teams with more wins than his team. The teams play for the telephone trophy and while it is not as well known as the Cy-Hawk trophy, which is given to the winner of the Iowa-I-S-U game, McCarney says his players care a great deal.
