Boswell says action needed on education

Congress may conclude work for the year this weekend, but Iowa Congressman Leonard Boswell says education spending’s still undecided.Boswell, who’s a democrat, says it’s hard to understand why decisions on education spending are taking so long when everyone says they’re a top priority.Boswell says another issue yet to be resolved is Medicare payments to rural hospitals.Boswell represents the third district and is running for re-election this year against republican challenger Jay Marcus of Fairfield.
