Election Day could be snowy

November 6, 2000 By admin

While political forecasters call Tuesday’s election too close to call, weather forecasters say the chances are good Iowa will see some snow. National Weather Service Meteorologist Gary Forster says most of Iowa will see some snow tomorrow, but it won’t stick around long.Forster, who works out of the suburban Des Moines office, says the snow shouldn’t keep people from making it to the polls. He says this is typical weather for the first Tuesday in November. He says November is a transitional month in which there are a lot of changes in the weather.
