Cyclones look to recover from thrashing

The Iowa State Cyclones head to Colorado this weekend looking to shake off the effects of last week’s 56-10 thrashing at the hands of Kansas State. Cyclone coach Dan McCarney says it is time to look ahead.McCarney believes his team will bounce back.Safety Dustin Avey has missed the last two games with a stinger in his neck. McCarney says Avey is doubtful for the final two games.Like Iowa State, Colorado is 3-3 in the Big-12 but Coach Gary Barnett’s team has won two straight. Barnett says Iowa State’s loss at Kansas State was just an aberration.Barnett expects the Cyclones to bounce back with a spirited effort.
