Cyclone’s road trips no party for the opposition

November 13, 2000 By admin

Iowa State coach Dan McCarney says success on the road has been a key to their record this season. The Cyclones won four of their five games away from home this season.McCarney hopes the success of this season will help the Cyclones when the recruiting season begins. He says it’s early in the recruiting season, but a winning season and bowl game will certainly help recruiting efforts.McCarney says his team is in no way satisfied. He says there are only four teams that’ve won eight games at Iowa State. McCarney says the team wants to add to that legacy by getting the win against Kansas and a win in a bowl game.
