ISU looks to make week special for seniors

November 14, 2000 By admin

The Iowa State Cyclones close out the regular season at home Saturday against Kansas. It will mark the final home game for a large Cyclone senior class, but coach Dan McCarney says the good news is it will not be their final game. He says he will try to make the week meaningful for his senior class.McCarney feels this is a dangerous game for his team, as it’s new ground to be going into the final game with a bowl game assured, and it could be a major distraction.McCarney says a winning season and a bowl berth will help the Cyclones on the recruiting trail.
