Bush won’t ask for Iowa recount

The George W. Bush campaign will not ask for a recount of Iowa votes cast in the November 7th election. Don Evans, Bush’s national campaign chairman, made the announcement at one o’clock this afternoon.Evans says Governor Bush trails Vice President Gore by a narrow three-tenths of one percent in Iowa. He says Bush believes it’s time for the nation to begin the process of moving forward.
