Central ready for playoffs

Central opens the division-three national playoffs at home against St. Norbert. Central coach Rich Kacmarynski says the Dutch see the playoffs as the start of a new season. He says the Iowa Conference Championship and their 10-0 record is gratifying, but they want to play for a few more weeks.Central’s most successful playoff teams have featured great defenses and that is why Kacmarynski likes their chances this time.Kacmarynski says the Dutch defense will be challenged by St. Norbert, as they have a very balanced offense.
