November 17, 2000 By admin

A former Lieutenant in the Clinton Fire Department was sentenced today on drug charges. 51-year old Jerry Dierks was sentenced to 30 months in prison after he pled guilty in August to delivery of methamphetamine. Prosecutors say Dierks had been involved in a scheme to mail meth from Phoenix, Arizona to Clinton during a period from 1990 to 1995. Dierks had worked for the Clinton Fire Department for 25 years.
