The Iowa Farm Bureau stretched today’s Thanksgiving celebration over the last several days in what’s called “Farm-City Week.”Farm Bureau spokesman Aaron Putze says the week honors the efforts made in the state to bring food from the farm to consumers.Putze says there are thousands of Iowans involved in the production of food in the state.The Farm Bureau’s annual survey of the cost of a Thanksgiving dinner found a decrease this year of one-dollar-and-46-cents. The cost of ten items for the basic meal increased only three-dollars and 52-cents in the last ten years.
