ISU and UNI women play in CR shootout

The Iowa State and Northern Iowa women will be part of a shootout at the U-S Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids. The eighth ranked Cyclones will take on DePaul in one of the games. The Cyclones are 3-0 after a narrow victory over Creighton.Cyclone coach Bill Fennelly says DePaul has an experienced team.Fennelly says Conference USA is an underrated league in women’s basketball.The games will be televised by Fox Midwest and Fennelly says it will be a great way to promote women’s basketball. The other game finds Northern Iowa against Illinois.
