Snowmobile accident leaves one dead

A weekend snowmobiling accident in northwest Iowa killed one teenager and injured a second.17-year-old Deborah Rienfeld of Primghar was killed when the snowmobile she was on collided with a cement culvert near Calumet in O’Brien County. 17-year-old Ryan Sjaarda of Paulina was life-flighted to a Sioux City hospital. His condition is unknown. It’s also unknown who was driving the snowmobile. The two were reported missing early Sunday and were found by a search party.
