An eastern Iowa judge faces suspension for alleged bad behavior — some of it in the courthouse.An Iowa City judge reportedly admits having sex with a prosecutor inside the Johnson County Courthouse. Judge Stephen Gerard faces six charges of ethical violations. His hearing is in March and he could be suspended 45 days. The assistant county attorney Gerard allegedly had an affair with had been appearing before him in court almost daily.
