A natural gas explosion heavily damaged a plumbing business this morning in the Hardin County town of Hubbard. No deaths are reported but several people suffered minor injuries. City Clerk Cheryl Pickering heard and felt the explosion.The door blew open at City Hall just as she was leaving. She says there was debris flying for blocks and lots of black smoke. Pickering says the explosion happened shortly after 11 o’clock.She says nearly every business in the two block downtown area has some sort of damage, from damaged walls to broken windows.Pickering says despite the destruction, no one was seriously hurt.The natural gas has been shut off all over the town. Students were also let out of school.
