A U-S Supreme Court ruling which may come today should at last -end- the drawn-out presidential election, according to Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley. He says everyone wants the extended race to be over and for the candidates’ appeals to cease.Grassley is a republican. He says the issue is no longer whether all of Florida’s ballots were counted, but whether the rules set up for recounts a decade ago were broken.The high court is deliberating whether ballot recounts can resume as the Florida House meets in special session today to debate a resolution giving the state’s 25 electors to George W-Bush, the certified election winner. Today is the deadline for states to certify electors.
