A meth lab blast on a railroad bridge west of Creston in southwest Iowa severely burned two men. When authorities arrived at the scene, a car was fully engulfed in flames. Investigators believe three men were making meth in the car, and elements of their makeshift lab exploded. Thirty-seven-year-old Jason Oglesbee and 37-year-old Jeffrey Bird of Creston are in the hospital, being treated for burns. Another person, 38-year-old Ron Brammer of Creston, is in jail, charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.
