December 13, 2000 By admin

After finishing as the runner-up at the N-A-I-A national tournament a year ago, the Northwestern College women’s basketball team is off to a quick start this season. The Red Raiders are 10-2 and coach Earl Woudstra says he had high expectations coming into the season. He says every year is different as you try to mold new players in with those who’re returning.Woudstra says their demanding schedule is a plus for his team as it gives them a challenge every week. Northwestern returns to action Saturday by visiting Central College and Woudstra says it is a matchup between similar institutions.
