Gas prices drop this month

A survey by Triple-A shows Iowans are paying a little less at the gas pump.Triple-A spokesman Daron Van Helden says gas dropped nine cents to a dollar and forty-two cents a gallon. Van Heldon says that’s the lowest it’s been since August , thanks to lower crude oil prices. He expects the price to jump a little next week as the holiday travel period begins.Van Heldon says gas is about 21-cents-a-gallon higher than it was at this time last year.
