ISU and UNI Women Meet Tonight in Hoops

There is an in-state womens’ basketball matchup tonight in Cedar Falls asNorthern Iowa hosts fifth-ranked Iowa State. U-N-I coach Tony Dicecco callsthis a great opportunity for his team.Dicecco says Iowa State is difficult to play because they can get pointsfrom a number of different spots on the floor.U-N-I is looking to set an attendance record in this game. Two years ago,the game drew better than 22-hundred fans to the West Gym. Panther coachTony Dicecco says with this game in the UNI-Dome they are hoping for a crowdof between four and five-thousand.Iowa State is 8-0 and coach Bill Fennelly expects this game to be played ina big-time atmosphere.Fennelly says the concern when playing U-N-I is their guard play.Fennelly says U-N-I has taken it to another level this season because ofdepth.
