NE Iowa Corn Producer Wins Honors

A farmer from northeast Iowa’s Delaware County has won the 2000 NationalCorn Yield Contest. Francis Childs, who farms near Manchester, had a 357-bushel-per-acre yield.It’s his fourth first-place win in the national contest. He used Pioneer34-B-24 corn.
