It has been a season of firsts for the Iowa State football team but one final goal remains and that is a win over Pittsburgh Thursday in the Insight-dot-com bowl in Phoenix. Cyclone coach Dan McCarney says there were a number of big wins this season, but for him the biggest victory to date came at Colorado.McCarney says the bowl trip is even more rewarding because of where the program came from after its 0-10-1 season.McCarney says the final goal of this team has not been accomplished, that’s to win the bowl game.
