Seniors have a chance for ISU history

Iowa State coach Dan McCarney says Thursday’s Insight-dot-com bowl against Pittsburgh gives a special senior class a chance to end their careers with the school’s first bowl win, and that includes quarterback Sage Rosenfels.McCarney says a key this season has been the big play ability of J.J. Moses.Defensive end Reggie Hayward has been a stalwart for the Cyclones and McCarney says his consistency has helped the defense improve.Senior safety Dustin Avey spent much of the season battling injury but McCarney says playing in a bowl game will be a great reward.
