Rockwell Collins signs contract to outfit airplanes

Cedar Rapids-based Rockwell Collins has won a contract to help fit 30 aircraft for a Bellevue, Washington aircraft leasing company.Rockwell spokeswoman Nancy Glass says the company will supply the electronic equipment for 30 new airplanes for the Boullioun Aviation Company.Glass could not say how much the contract is worth to the company. She says most of the equipment is made in Iowa.Glass says the company has options to supply equipment for additional airplanes. Rockwell Collins employs approximately nine thousand people in Iowa.
