Rockwell Collins will keep the Air Force connected

Cedar Rapids-based Rockwell Collins has won a contract to supply a wireless e-mail system to the U-S Air Force. Rockwell spokesman Doug Wagner says the deal involves a high-frequency wireless communication system.Wagner says Rockwell is designing and building the system that will allow the Air Force to send and receive e-mail all over the world..He says they’ll begin work on the new system in September.Wagner did not know how much the contract is worth to Rockwell.
