State officials are looking into the death of a dog in northeast Iowa. The Department of Natural Resources is investigating the death of farmer David Wendt’s dog which was found along a Delaware County snowmobile trail near Delhi. It’s suspected snowmobilers may have killed the six-year-old black labrador.
