Garman can’t imagine it’s much sport to hunt mourning doves. The dove-hunting bill cleared the House Natural Resources Committee on a 14 to seven vote this morning. In past years, lawmakers were inundated with letters and e-mail from Iowans who were opposed to the dove-hunting season.
