Cyclones try to rebound from overtime loss

January 12, 2001 By admin

The Iowa State Cyclones visit Missouri in Big-12 action. Despite an overtime loss at Oklahoma State, the Cyclones are off to an impressive start at 13-2. Coach Larry Eustachy says while the loss of Marcus Fizer was significant, this team is better in some areas, such as perimeter shooting.Freshman guard Zack Fortune had intended to redshirt but has now been forced into a back-up role for the Cyclones. Eustachy says Fortune has helped the team and has a bright future.
