Imagine filling your car’s gas tank with corn-based ethanol fuel for a year for free. That’s one of the grand prizes in a new Iowa Lottery promotion. Lottery spokeswoman Mary Neubauer says players who buy five-dollars or more in any lotto game but Pick Three will automatically get a raffle ticket.The lottery will hold a raffle drawing on February 13th. Thirty winning numbers will be drawn. Neubauer says those 30 people will be eligible to win a batch of prizes. The five grand prizes are for 13-hundred dollars in ethanol certificates — or 25-dollars every week for a year. Neubauer says this is the time of year the Lottery traditionally does something car-related. The winning raffle ticket numbers will be posted at retailers and on the Iowa Lottery website at “www.ialottery.com”.
