The Northern Iowa Panthers pulled away down the stretch and snapped a ten-game losing skid with a 62-50 victory over Wichita State Wednesday night in the UNI-Dome. The Panthers hadn’t won since December 21st. U-N-I coach Sam Weaver felt going into the game his team was ready to play.Joe Breakenridge had another double double for U-N-I, finishing with 22-points and 13-rebounds.Breakenridge says solid defense was the difference.
