Sentencing delayed in Oskaloosa case

January 26, 2001 By admin

The sentencing of an Oskaloosa man on a child abuse conviction was delayed today while the judge considers new evidence.23-year-old Clarence Yoe was found guilty in December of multiple counts of child endangerment for physically abusing two-year old Frank Charbonneau Junior. The sentencing was delayed after defense lawyers claimed today they had new evidence that a former girlfriend testified against Yoe just to get even with him. The sentencing has now been delayed until Tuesday.
